Your guide to arriving, settling in, and making the most of your new home.
On Monday, July 20, 2026, AECOM Hong Kong opens the doors to its new home at 83 King Lam Street, Cheung Sha Wan — your first working day in the building. We'll mark the move together with a launch celebration on Friday, July 24. This isn't just a change of address — it's a new way of working, designed around you.
The office has been built around the concept of Urban Alchemy — transforming the everyday into something extraordinary. Across four floors, you'll find spaces designed for focus, collaboration, and connection.
Freedom to Grow (F2G) is AECOM's approach to trust-based, outcomes-driven working. At King Lam Street it becomes something tangible — a space and set of practices built to support the way our best work actually happens.
This guide covers everything you need to get started — from getting here, to finding a desk, booking rooms, and understanding the ABW approach.
ABW means no fixed desks. Instead, the office offers a variety of spaces designed for different types of work. You choose where you sit based on what you're doing that day.
Neighborhoods are flexible areas for your team to sit together.
They are not dedicated or exclusive spaces — other colleagues can sit there if space allows.
Detailed floor plans for all four AECOM floors are hosted on SharePoint. Open the layouts pack to explore neighborhoods, zones, and team locations.
Floor plans are indicative — final layouts may be refined as fit-out progresses. Access requires AECOM SharePoint sign-in.
Lost your access card? Contact Facilities Management immediately. A temporary pass can be arranged at Reception on 19/F.
All workstations are sit-stand desks with ergonomic chairs. Personalise your chair settings each time you sit — each person is different, and the chairs are designed to accommodate.
Remember: clean desk policy applies at the end of every day. All personal items must be stored in your locker before you leave. This keeps the space welcoming for everyone.
The King Lam Street office has been designed with sustainability at its core. As a global infrastructure leader, AECOM is committed to leading by example — and that starts with how we use this space every day.
A digital ESG dashboard (part of the BlueSky initiative) will go live in the office at a later date, bringing our environmental performance into view where we work.
Meeting rooms, focus booths, and desks will all be bookable through a new workplace booking app, launching ahead of go-live. Rooms can also be booked directly via Microsoft Teams or Outlook. Booking-app details to follow — this section is a placeholder and will be updated once the platform is confirmed.
Need to book for a client visit or large event? Contact Facilities Management for coordinated room setup, catering, and visitor registration.
King Lam Street sits in the middle of one of Kowloon's most underrated food-and-lifestyle pockets. From on-site coffee to D2 Place's restaurant cluster, hidden cafés, dessert institutions and studios for moving and unwinding — there's a lot worth discovering within a short walk.
We've pulled the team's favorites into a dedicated interactive neighborhood guide — browse by category, search, and jump straight to OpenRice or Google Maps for each spot.
Walk one day through our new workplace — and see how each space is built for a different way of working.
Four colleagues, four rhythms. Step into Maya’s day, then take the quick quiz at the end to find the space that works for you.
Four colleagues, four rhythms. Meet them below, then take the quiz to find your match.
Client calls in the morning, team stand-ups on 18, a tender review booked on G/F for the afternoon. Daniel moves fast — the building keeps up. He hasn't sat at the same desk twice this week.
Step into the day →Month-end closes don't happen in open-plan. Jeff knows exactly which floor, which booth, and which hours to book — a quiet focus space booked for as long as the numbers take to reconcile.
Step into the day →Client calls in the morning, cross-discipline workshops in the afternoon. James moves between floors deliberately — activity-based working suits him perfectly.
Step into the day →New to the office, Maya quickly finds her rhythm. She moves through the building as her day demands — focus desks for deep work, collaboration zones for team sessions, and the café on 17F when she needs to recharge. The variety of spaces makes it easy to match where she is to what she's doing.
Take the quiz →Same day, three lenses — take the quiz, step through it, or watch the film.
A playful, animated quiz — meet the personas and find the workstyle that fits you.
A guided, floor-by-floor walk-through — move through arrive, focus, collaborate and wind-down.
